Service Writer
Phase II Diesel, Inc. is a small business in Truck and Trailer Repair in Newburgh, NY. We are a Certified Cummins Warranty Service Facility.

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Writer. As a Service Writer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department invoicing, Cummins warranty submission and third party customer billing providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their service needs
- Write accurate and detailed service orders, including vehicle information, requested services, and customer concerns
- Communicate with service manager to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance
- Assist service manager in creating estimates for services and obtain customer approval
- Coordinate and assist parts department to ensure availability of necessary parts
- Maintain accurate records of all service transactions
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Service Writer or Service Advisor is preferred
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
- Proficient computer skills for writing service orders and maintaining records - Quickbooks knowledge helpful
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
