What a fantastic day at the EuroBonus Golf Tour! ⛳️

We were delighted to welcome a group of EuroBonus members to the beautiful Barsebäck Golf Resort for a day centered around great golf, new connections, and memorable experiences.

From breakfast and warm-up swings to 18 holes of competition and prize celebrations, the day was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a shared love for the game.

Ever heard of the polar route? 🌍 In 1954, SAS became the world’s first airline to open a commercial polar route, pioneering travel between the US West Coast and Europe. Our former captain Staffan flew this route and explains the details to current captain Rebecka 🤝

Our EuroBonus members took on The Arctic Run in Northern Norway 🏔️

Our EuroBonus members kicked off the day with breakfast together before the race and celebrated the finish with food and great company. Of course, with our SAS cheerleaders there to cheer everyone on.💙

This May 31st, we celebrate International Flight Attendant Day and the extraordinary people behind every SAS flight.

We asked members of our cabin crew to share the moments they truly fly for, the ones that remind them why they love what they do. Whether it's a child's first flight, a breathtaking view at 35,000 feet, or simply making a nervous traveller feel at ease, these are the stories that define our crew.

To all our flight attendants across the SAS network: thank you for showing up with care, professionalism, and heart - every single flight.

What a week to celebrate 80 years. ✈️

We opened our anniversary year at Västerås Flygmuseum beside Daisy - a 1943 Douglas DC-3 that helped build Scandinavian aviation from the ground up. She flew in World War II, joined SAS in 1948, and took to the skies once more this week. The bullet holes are still there. So is the spirit.

A huge thank you to Sveriges Flygveteraner, Västerås Flygmuseum, Henrik Boresäter, Billy Bergåker and Lars Sveding for making this so special. 🇩🇰🇳🇴🇸🇪

Yesterday was a very special day for SAS. 🛩️

To open our 80th anniversary year, we gathered at Stockholm Västerås Airport alongside Daisy, a 1943 Douglas DC-3 that is part of Scandinavian aviation history.

Daisy was built in Long Beach in 1943 as a military transport aircraft, flew troops in North Africa and dropped paratroopers over Normandy on D-Day. After the war, she was rebuilt for civilian life, joined SAS in 1948 under the name Fridtjof Viking, and flew the very routes that put Scandinavia on the global aviation map.

Yesterday, she flew again.

It was a powerful reminder of where SAS came from and the spirit of cooperation, courage and ambition that has carried us through 80 years, three nations and millions of journeys.

Here's to the next chapter. 🇩🇰🇳🇴🇸🇪

A new Viking is born. 🇩🇰✈️

On 18 May, we named our newest Airbus A350-900 "Frederik Viking" in honour of His Majesty King Frederik X at a ceremony at Copenhagen Airport. The aircraft then took flight to Seoul Incheon, marking the start of a new chapter.

SAS aircrafts have long carried Viking names as a nod to our shared Scandinavian heritage and the spirit of exploration. This naming feels especially meaningful as we celebrate 80 years of connecting Scandinavia with the world.

The A350 is the most fuel-efficient and comfortable aircraft in our long-haul fleet, quieter cabins, better air quality, and lower emissions than previous generations.

Here's to the journeys ahead. 🌍
