"Really the best moving experience I've ever had."

"I used Liffey to move the furniture from my office to my home. It was a relatively small move, though the items were of significant value (at least to me). From start to finish, Liffey made me feel like my move was the biggest project they'd ever handled by which I mean they gave me top notch attention as if I was a big deal.
They handled all my stuff very carefully.

The move included a difficult move of a wall unit up some twisty stairs. They were undaunted.

Not only that, the wall unit needed to be reconfigured to fit in the new space, which required some complex disassembly and reassembly, and they were real troupers making it happen, even when it seemed impossible.

Ultimately they would not leave until I was completely satisfied. Super pleasant, a fair price, highly flexible as details of the move were changing, very well organized, skilled, careful.

Really the best moving experience I've ever had.

What can I say 'I was moved' by the whole thing! Highly recommend!" — John

The size of the move doesn't determine how much attention it gets. A small office move with valuable items gets the same care and focus as a five-bedroom house. Complex disassembly, reassembly in a tight space, refusing to leave until everything is right.

NYC buildings have specific rules, and the last thing you want is our crew showing up only to find out you don't have the elevator reserved or the required insurance certificate.

Check with both buildings:
Elevator reservation requirements
Certificate of insurance (we provide this, just tell us what you need)
Move-in/move-out hours and days allowed
Loading dock or parking permit requirements
Any deposit or fees

Give us your building's requirements as soon as you have them. We'll make sure we have everything ready so moving day goes smoothly.

"I had the best experience with Juan Pablo Vivanco (foreman) Daniel and Xicay. They packed up EVERYTHING. I didn't need to lift a finger. I was literally sitting on the couch and they took care of it all.

Took them less than 2 hours to pack up my entire apartment and they even took the TV off the wall for me. Drove over to the new apartment and unpacked everything in less than 2 hours and even hung my clothes for me in the closet and unpacked my kitchen appliances and put them away in the cabinets. 100% recommend this company for anyone moving in NYC. Moving Tip: Confirm utilities are set up before you arrive at your new place.

Call ahead to make sure electricity, gas, water, and internet are all active when you get there. The last thing you want is to show up to a dark apartment with no water or internet on moving day.

Schedule utility activation at least a week before your move. If something isn't working when you arrive, you have time to troubleshoot and fix it instead of dealing with it after an exhausting day.
