Sea lion had claimed the bench first. I was just allowed to sit there. While there are many people in the Galapagos right now doing these grand expeditions I’ve just popped down to have some. Island time and get away from it all. There are so many nice hotels here which makes a fly and flop holiday a reality.

THE HOTELS LOVE US. THEY CALL ME AND SAY, “SIR, WHATEVER YOUR CLIENTS WANT, WE WILL DO IT.” AND I SAY, “JOSE, (TALL, POWERFUL GUY, KNOWN HIM A LONG TIME), WE WANT BIG BEAUTIFUL UPGRADES, FREE BREAKFASTS (THEY CALL IT DESAYUNO, I SAY I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU CALL IT JUST MAKE IT FREE), AND HOTEL CREDITS.” AND THEY DO IT, BECAUSE THEY KNOW WE ARE THE BEST.

OTHER TRAVEL AGENCIES? COMPLETE JOKE. NO UPGRADES, NO BENEFITS, NO FREE BREAKFAST. THEY LOOK LIKE FAILED ACCOUNTANTS. CROOKED SUITS, BAD HAIR. LOW ENERGY, VERY WEAK.

WE GOT A CALL FROM A CLIENT IN THE GREAT STATE OF FLORIDA (THE STATE OF RON DESANCTIMONIOUS). HE SAID, “SIR, WE NEED 6 ROOMS IN BOSTON ON A BUDGET.”

THE HATERS SAID, “IMPOSSIBLE! THE PRICES ARE HIGH BECAUSE IT’S CONFERENCE SEASON.” WRONG!

WE WENT INTO BOSTON. WE NEGOTIATED HARD. WE GOT A FANTASTIC HOTEL, RIGHT ON BUDGET. WE GET THE BEST DEALS. PEOPLE ARE SAYING IT WAS THE GREATEST HOTEL NEGOTIATION THEY’VE EVER SEEN. MAYBE IN HISTORY.

OTHER TRAVEL AGENCIES? LOW ENERGY! TOO WEAK. TOO SCARED. TOTAL DISASTER. THEY’D BE BOOKING AT RACK RATE. SAD!
