I’ve been going to them since I was 6 years old — from their very first location to where they are now 🤍

I’ve tried other salons, but this one will always be one of my favorites.
This is where I made so many memories with my grandmother that I’ll cherish forever.

And the consistency? unmatched.
My hair always comes out healthy, strong, and beautiful every single time.

If you’re looking for a salon you can trust, this is one of them.
$10 deep condition + rollers + blowout — don’t skip it.

Just don’t wait until everyone else catches on 👀

Last year for National Girlfriend Day, we planned to go to during NYC Summer Restaurant Week but completely missed the timeframe. Still decided to go anyway — and honestly, it might have been even better.

The experience started the moment we walked in. If you make a reservation, there’s a waiting lounge with a full bar, and yes… we definitely took advantage of that while waiting for our table. 🍸

Our waiter was amazing and gave some great recommendations, which made ordering way easier.

What we ordered:
⭐️ Long Island Ice Tea
⭐️ Raspberry Lychee Lemonade Mocktail
⭐️ Filet Mignon Bites
⭐️ Mango Tango Mocktail
⭐️ Tagliatelle Bolognese
⭐️ Seafood Tasting

The Filet Mignon Bites stole the show. Tender, flavorful, and honestly so good we wished it came as a full entrée with mashed potatoes.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The only thing that stood out was they asked my boyfriend to remove his hat before entering the main dining area, but we later noticed someone else inside still wearing theirs.

Another major highlight is the outdoor patio overlooking the water. It’s beautiful, but it fills up fast, so definitely reserve ahead if you want that view.

Safe to say… this spot is perfect for date nights. 💯

Aunt + niece date night in Albany 🍽️🔥
We checked out , a Black-owned spot bringing food, drinks, and ho**ah to a lively Friday night scene.

What we ordered:
⭐️ Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls — $14 (8/10)
⭐️ Calamari Fritti — $12 (8/10)
⭐️ Garlic Parmesan Wings — $12.99 (7/10)
⭐️ Dragon Fire — $18 (9/10)
⭐️ Mocktail — $3
⭐️ Cheese Quesadillas — $14 (8.5/10)

Our experience (2 people):
The food was decent overall. The calamari and quesadillas were the standouts. The Dragon Fire drink was clearly a favorite — my aunt ordered it three times, so that says a lot 😭🔥
Music was very loud, so conversation required yelling. Dining in came with plastic cups, to-go containers, and paper towels for napkins. Ho**ah was good and reasonably priced. Service could’ve been better — we had to walk up to the bar more than once to get our server’s attention.

If you’re in Albany and looking for a high-energy night with drinks and ho**ah, this is worth checking out and deciding for yourself 👀

A last-minute “you outside?” text + Chili’s viral Triple Dipper = whatever THIS was 😭🔥
We came for the appetizer and accidentally had the best girls’ night of the summer.
Laughing too loud, surprises I didn’t see coming, and zero regrets.

We came to celebrate a graduation…
and somehow ended the night auditioning for Fast & The Furious: Friendship Edition 😭🏍️

After graduation party wrapped up, everyone was heading out when pulled up on the motorcycle and that’s when the jokes started 😮‍💨
The girls HAD to try it… but let’s be honest — not everyone should’ve gotten on 💀

We were CRYING laughing the entire time.
Kymora had me WEAK the most 😭😭

Seafood cravings hit different on a Monday 😍🦞
So I headed back to my childhood neighborhood for some fish market— yep, the spot that went viral years ago and is still serving up 🔥 seafood trays for one or a crew.

💡 What I Ordered:
🌟 Fulton St. (2 ppl) $115 — 4 Snow Crab Clusters, 1 LB Shrimp, 2 Lobster Tails, Corn & Potatoes (8/10)
🌟 Cajun Butter $5 (10/10) — should’ve ordered two 😏
⭐️ Butter $5 (7/10)

Pro tip: If there’s a wait, stroll a few feet to their sit-in spot and try their frozen drinks 🍹. And yes — they’ve got a Long Island location too! on the Nautical Mile is calling your name.

📌 Tag someone who NEEDS a Monday seafood boil and tell them: Seafood Boil + Monday = LIFE CHANGING 😱

Last May I made my second visit to what I heard was one of the BEST pizzerias in NYC 🍕🔥 — , right next to the Arlo SoHo. I stopped in on a solo lunch break after dropping a passenger off in the city and ordered their Vodka Pesto Slice ($6.83 back then 👀).

Y’all… this slice was SOOO freaking good that I literally went back 2–3 times a week for almost two months straight 😅. It’s light, airy, packed with flavor, and not weighed down by a thick crust. Easily a 10/10 from me.

If you’re ever in SoHo, stop by and tell them I sent you! 🙌
