Not gonna lie, when I moved to New York I worried a lot of the q***r and WLW spaces would be predominantly 🏳️‍⚪️◽️❕️.

Don't get me wrong, I love all shapes, colors, and backgrounds. But there is something about finding spaces where you see yourself reflected, whether through culture, identity, music, or shared experiences.

Thankfully, I've found a few q***r homes:

My first Pride as a q***r woman was in Nepal. 🌈🇳🇵

Not New York. Not Connecticut. Nepal.

I've attended Pride events before, but this one meant much more to me. This day was filled with music, color, joy, community, and people showing up as themselves.

A year filled with travel, heartbreak, healing, self-discovery, and unexpected detours somehow led me to the other side of the world, marching through the streets of Kathmandu surrounded by celebration.

Sometimes you travel thousands of miles looking for one thing and end up finding something completely different.

This past weekends was such a beautiful reminder of what community can look like when people come together with open hearts.

From sharing resources, reducing waste, helping families, and rebuilding a little bit of community - this event truly could not have happened without you!

Thailand 2027 group trip with and honestly… this itinerary is everything I hoped it would be.

Bangkok nights. Street food, markets, temples, exploring the energy of the city by tuk-tuk, and long tail boats

Then Chiang Mai: temples, cooking with a local family, ethical elephant encounters, and Thai New Year celebrations..

And finally… island time. Boat rides, turquoise water, beach days, sunsets, and the kind of moments that make you forget what day it is.

This trip was built for women who want more than just a vacation. Women who want adventure, connection, culture, fun, and memories that actually stay with them.

There’s something powerful about women reconnecting with nature.

With water.
With movement.
With quiet.

The world teaches us to constantly perform, produce, rush, and prove ourselves.

But nature doesn’t ask us to be anything other than present.

Water reminds me that softness and strength can exist together. That flow is powerful. That slowing down is not weakness.

More women deserve moments like this.
Moments where we’re not pouring into everyone else.
Moments where we can just breathe, exist, explore, and feel connected to ourselves again.

This is the kind of life I want more of.
More nature. More peace. More presence. 🌿🌊
