Solo travel isn't lonely, doing every trip alone is. And that's exactly why I built Wanderlust Sisters.

I'm actually at a training right now with Relational Uprising learning relational culture. Basically the skill of building real community on purpose. I learned this almost 10 years ago, and so much of who I am and how I bring people together came from it. Now I'm back to refresh it, remember it, and re-embody it. 🀍

This is the why underneath everything I do... including Wanderlust Sisters, my women's travel community for women who want to explore the world, meet new people, and have the freedom of traveling solo without actually having to do it alone.

Which brings me to the big one: πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡ we're going to Thailand. April 2027, 14 days: Bangkok, Songkran in Chiang Mai, elephants, cooking with a local family, island life in Koh Phi Phi, and more.

If that's calling you, comment THAILAND and I'll send you the trip details. ✈️

One thing I love about a summer in NYC are Summer Nights in Harlem... you're gonna eat good, hear good music, meet good people, and probably leave with something you didn't plan on buying. πŸ˜‚

All at Formerly Uptown Night Market πŸ™ŒπŸ½

I came home with some Miss Jessie's Jelly Soft Curls gel, a beautiful book for my niece, *Abigail's Song: A Guide to Understanding Nonverbal Children with Autism* by Thamani Tomlin of Central Healing LLC AND some bomb-ass Jamaican food. 🀀

You do need to RSVP to attend! And if you want to beat the crowds, go early. We went from 6–8 PM and got to enjoy everything before it really filled up.

The fashion industry is one of the largest polluters of clean water in the world.

Clothing stores used to have 4 seasons, now they have 52.

Between fast fashion, celebs on social media, and weird judgment culture on social media... we somehow started shaming people from wearing and posting the same outfit.

WHO CARES?!

If your clothes are still in good condition, wear em.

You also don't need more clothes than you have dollars in your savings acct. 🀣

Wear the outfit.
Post the outfit.
Repeat.

Also, hence the clothing swaps I host...

I brought stuff to change the color of the fire?? I'm gonna be a cool mom one day πŸ₯°

Another great camping trip in the books, days by the water, nights by the fire.

Still hunting for camping spots within a 3-hour drive of NY that actually have cell service.. drop your favorites!! πŸ‘‡ Plenty of season left.

Oh and my new fav camping pants - F.R.E.E. Found them at a warehouse in Brooklyn and they were in a "Free Box" 🀣

Two years of living in New York is coming up, and I've been reflecting on so many of the experiences I've had since moving here.

When I first got here, I was SO excited to explore. And honestly? I felt a little less weird here. πŸ˜‚

There were so many experiences where I could explore all my different interests from art, sexuality, culture, spirituality, music, food... I was constantly finding something new to see, try, or learn.

One of those early NYC nights was this incredibly intimate Sh***ri performance by Japanese rope artist Hajime Kinoko and Marie Sauvage.

Funny enough, earlier that year I had taken an introductory Sh***ri course at Hajime Kinoko's studio in Japan... only to move to NYC and get the chance to see him perform a few months later.

Two years later, I want more of that energy again.

More curiosity. More exploring. More asking myself...

What haven't I experienced yet?

Whats something you want to experience?

Grateful. As I sit here, campsite set up, posts SCHEDULED, and an extra tent added because there’s rain in the forecast for my first night... I can’t help but feel grateful.

Grateful to be able to experience moments like this.. quiet, surrounded by nature.

Grateful that this post is going up while I’m out here because technology lets me schedule it and disconnect.

Grateful that my mom taught me how to enjoy life on a budget.

Grateful that my brain thought, β€œHmm, let me get a converter that hooks up to my car battery,” so I can power things like the built-in pump on my air mattress. πŸ˜‚ Because being in nature does NOT mean I have to be uncomfortable.

Just grateful for the big things, the little things, and all the random things that make experiences like this possible.

What’s something you’re grateful for today? 🀍

I'm the calm, organized extra set of hands behind the scenes: setup, breakdown, vendor coordination, and whatever the day throws at us. I actually have a wedding next weekend and I'm so excited to do what I love!! πŸ’˜

Now, this isn't just for weddings, think of Funerals, Baby showers and more... the events not large enough for a production team but still need an extra set of reliable hands.

This was inspired by and after my own backyard wedding, where my family set up and broke it all down, I started a Wedding & Event Support business, drawing on my years in events. So your cousin, your maid of honor, and your mom can actually enjoy the day instead of working it.

Now booking weddings, showers, birthdays & events across NYC, NJ, Westchester & CT. DM me or reach out at [email protected] to check availability. πŸ’Œ
