We’re at it again. This time, we’re heading to Sao Miguel island 🏝️ n the Azore islands, Portugal.

A natural hot spring has been on my bucket list and it’s mostly why we’re spending a night on the island of Ischia, Italy. However, we weren’t prepared for this! We ended at a Michelin vegan/veg restaurant which was an insane 2 hour, 45 minute experience. We also had perfect weather all day. Easily, one of the most magical days ever. Grateful is an understatement.

We’re on the way to Italy. First stop, Milan for 2 nights. Then we head to Positano on the Amalfi Coast, which has been high on my bucket list for a very long time. If you’re not familiar, Google it and you’ll see why. Then we head to Naples, the island of Ischia, Rome, Florence, Venice and back to Milan. We’ll be taking a mixture of planes, trains, automobiles and ferries. This is an atypical trip for us, because American tourism to Italy is exceptionally high this year and we don’t tend to follow the crowd. But that only means that next year will have to be something a little more adventurous. I’ve been eyeballing the Azures, Moracco and Croatia, which likely means we’ll end up in somewhere like Finland.
