Job Title: Owner Operators - 26ft Box Truck Appliance Delivery & Installation dedicated lane
Job Overview:We are seeking dedicated owner operators with 26ft box trucks equipped for appliance delivery and light installation for a 2 year dedicated lane. The role involves local delivering and installing appliances with a focus on quality service and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a 26ft box truck, equipped with or without a liftgate.
Ensure timely and safe delivery of appliances and furniture to designated locations.
Provide appliance installation services using provided handyman tools and an appliance dolly.
Work in pairs (Driver & Helper) for efficient and safe delivery and installation processes.
Utilize an application for appliance installation guidance.
Uphold safety standards and procedures during all operations.
Maintain and organize cover pads for protection during transit and delivery.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ownership or access to a 26ft box truck suitable for delivery and installation.
Ability to work in a team, coordinating effectively with a helper.
Experience in appliance delivery and installation preferred.
Handyman skills and familiarity with basic tools required for installation tasks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
Additional Information:
Sub-zero refrigerator installation is not part of the job scope.
Each delivered piece must be returned when applicable.
The role involves light installation and does not include major electrical or plumbing work.
Local Routes going no more than 75miles from warehouse
