The EAA group at Hidden Lake Airport are taking students for
a short ride today. It's the members wish to introduce young people to aviation. John Voda is the person to speak with if you know of a group who would like learn about aviation.

The Young Eagles group is having a morning of flying some kids around the airport area. Today they expect 15 kids to experience the thrill of small planes. Some have been flying before and for others it will be their first time. They each get a little instruction by the pilot first and then get in the plane and take off for a short flight around, sometimes going out to the coast and back. Each will receive a certificate and a website to learn more about aviation. Anyone is
welcome to come and watch. Parental permission is needed to fly.

The pilots here at Hidden Lake love to help new pilots. Michael Gustella is learning from Harold Hedrick, Steve Carper, Jack Wetzel and Warren Cheatham. Of course there are others interested in helping a new pilot learn the joy of flying. That’s the wonderful thing about living here at Hidden Lake Estates.
The Experimental Aircraft Association, the EAA members, of which Michael is a board member of our local chapter do all they can to bring new experiences to youngsters who are given airplane rides. Some kids have never been in an airplane. These experiences can change lives! We have seen this again and again!
