Cruise fares are only the beginning! Tonight on PKAT Chat, Melinda and I are talking about all those cruise add-ons and extras the cruise lines want us to pay for—and deciding which ones are actually worth the money and which ones we think are a total rip-off.
We’re putting drink packages, specialty dining, Wi-Fi, shore excursions, spa treatments, thermal suites, priority boarding programs, specialty activities, photo packages, room upgrades, balconies, cabanas, private destinations, transportation, cruise line insurance and more to the test. Some extras can genuinely improve a cruise vacation, while others might make a lot more sense to skip depending on how you travel.
