The skies will be buzzing, the chicken will be sizzling, and the candy will be falling from the sky! 🍬

🎉 Stunt pilots, skydivers (yes, even Santa!), RC planes, the flying lawnmower, VC marching band, airplane rides, and more. It’s all happening TODAY!

Grab the kids, grab your lawn chairs, and come spend the afternoon making memories at the Vinton County Airshow. 🛫

🚨🔥The countdown is ON, and you don’t want to miss the Vinton County Airshow, the biggest family event of the season!

Ask any kid what they remember about the Vinton County Airshow and they will all say the same thing. Candy raining from the sky, Santa parachuting in, and planes zooming around are always a hit with the young ones. This is their airshow too!

Fly in for the Vinton County Airshow! We’ve got an incredible deal just for you: Airplane Fuel $4/gallon! That’s significantly cheaper than surrounding airports, so it’s the perfect time to top off your tanks.

Here’s the plan:
👉 Fly in before the show
👉 Grab a delicious $15 chicken dinner 🍗
👉 Enjoy all the Airshow fun 🎉
👉 Fuel up before heading home

⏰ Reminder: The runway will close at 12:30 PM for the show and reopen after the performance (typically around 4:30 PM).

🚨 Important Road Closure Notice for Airshow Day! 🚨

On Sunday, September 21, Airport Road will be CLOSED from 12:30 PM until approximately 4:30 PM during the Airshow.

👉 A detour will be available via State Route 328.
👉 For everyone’s safety, all guests and pedestrians must stay off Airport Road throughout the Airshow per FAA regulations.

This closure ensures the Airshow can remain safe, on schedule, and enjoyable for all! Thank you for your cooperation, and we can’t wait to see you at the show! ✈️✨
