Porter Art Services does it again! We were delighted to crate this stunning Elizabeth Catlett sculpture for New Orleans Museum of Art. This custom crate was a fun one to build and pack. It features an inner box, sliding tray, and custom collars all with the appropriate barrier materials to keep this piece stable and safe during transport.

5 years ago Porter was tasked with moving (overnight) the artwork out of the old terminal at the Louis Armstrong International Airport and into the new building all the way across the airfield. This past week our team returned to give the art installation a little face lift. Next time you fly out of MSY, swing by the A gates and take a peek!

It’s opening weekend for “How You Doin’ New Orleans”! What a treat it was to install art from home. This show features over 80 artworks by 53 local artists!

You can vote for your favorites throughout the weekend, and those favorites will be purchased by the City of New Orleans’ Percent for Art Program.

We love programs that support art, local artists, and getting that art up all over town!

Thanks to for making it all possible, and to .co for sharing their space! Lastly, special thanks to our shop team for building temporary walls - it takes a village!
