🚍🎨 Perry County Mobility Management is excited to help spread the word about the 2026 Rural Transit Day Student Art Contest!

National RTAP is inviting K-12 students across the country to showcase what they love about rural public transportation through original artwork. Students can create drawings or paintings featuring buses, drivers, riders, bus stops, community scenery, or anything that highlights the importance of rural transit in everyday life.

This is such a great opportunity to encourage creativity while also helping students better understand how transportation connects people to school, work, healthcare, community activities, and so much more throughout rural America.

đź–Ť Contest Details:
• Open to all K-12 students in the United States
• Original hand drawn or painted artwork only
• Up to 3 submissions per school
• Deadline to submit: June 20, 2026
• Winning students AND their schools can each receive prizes

Selected artwork may also be featured on the National RTAP website, social media, and transportation conferences across the country.

Parents, guardians, or school representatives must complete and submit the official release form along with all artwork entries.

We would love to see Perry County students represented in this national contest and celebrate the creativity of our local communities!

“I would’ve made it… but my ride fell through.”

We’ve all heard it.
We’ve all said it.

Sometimes it’s an excuse.
Sometimes… it’s real.

If your ride situation is actually holding you back, we can help fix that.

This week, you saw what a ride can do.
Getting to work.
Making it to appointments.
Showing up to school.
Getting to treatment.
Moving forward.
Those aren’t small things.
That’s real life in Perry County.
That’s people doing what they need to do to take care of themselves and their families.
And it all comes down to one simple thing.
A way to get there.
That’s what Mobility Management is about.
Not just transportation.
Opportunity.
Not just rides.
A way forward.
If you or someone you know needs help, don’t wait.

This week in Perry County:

People got to work.
People made it to appointments.
Students showed up to school.
People got to treatment.

All because they had a way to get there.

That’s what Mobility Management is about.

Not just rides.
Opportunities.

Not just transportation.
A way forward.

If you need help, or know someone who does, reach out.

Someone needed a ride to treatment.

They wanted to go.
They were ready.

But they didn’t have a way to get there.

Now they’re showing up.

Putting in the work.
Taking steps forward.
Doing what they need to do.

That’s not easy.

And something as simple as a ride can make all the difference.

If transportation is standing in the way of treatment, let’s fix that.
