For this bride’s gown, I added elastic to the straps inside the dress so she still had the mobility but they sat in a better spot on her arm. They were detachable, but I sewed them in instead. I removed appliqués, did a bust dart to shrink the cup size and took in the side seams and then reapplied the appliqués. I also installed new push up bust cups. I then hemmed the dress (about 10 layers) and installed a 5 point bustle.

This bride’s dress was a beautiful previously loved gown that needed a little fixing. There were tears in the lace overlay and the hem on the lining was not laying right. I took in the bust and shortened straps. I let out the side seams from the hips to knee. I hemmed the lace layer and used that excess lace to cover the tears throughout . And I hemmed and fixed the wonky lining. It already had a bustle installed, so I just showed her how to bustle it.

This bride’s gown didn’t need much. I made a little tweak on the straps that made a difference to functionality. They’re detachable but the attachment was hooks and just thread chains. It just didn’t hold the straps on very well so I added bars for the hooks to attach and lock in to. She brought me bust cups that I installed. I hemmed it and installed a bustle.

This dress made me happy! 😊 the original flowers on top actually didn’t match the red in the print on this dress. Client wanted to embellish the dress a bit to make it more fancy for the Kentucky derby!I really enjoyed this one. I added new flowers that match better and have a softer look, added straps, and added the ruffles to the side seam. This client showed me an AI picture she had created for ideas and we went from there. 🩷🩷🩷

I added a glittery tulle overlay, a belt, reshaped the bust, added fullness to the ruffles, changed the back closure to hook & eye vs tied. Also removed some fullness/weight from bridesmaids dresses and did a full reconstruction for a full busted bridesmaid.

This bride was so fun to work with! She wore her mom’s dress slightly reimagined for the ceremony and part of the reception. Then she changed into this dancing dress that I made custom for her! So FUN!!

Built this dress from scratch. Bride brought me inspiration pictures and talked about what she wanted. I used a few different patterns to help with this creation, but the patterns didn’t go up to the right size, so everything had to be adjusted. Spent a lot of time searching for just the right materials. Lots of hours of labor went into making this dress. Made a mock up first. Then made more pattern adjustments. Cut out tons of small embroidered flowers to create appliqués. Bodice appliqués are all hand sewn. Bride was beautiful on her wedding day! This whole process was fun and went smoothly and she was a pleasure to work with!!
