The convoy is open to the public, but you must register, pay your fees, and receive your placement. You can register early. If you decide to enter the day of the event, the convoy fee must be paid before Noon, and you must register on the day of the convoy.

The Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel Replacement Project announces the date of tolling commencement is anticipated to be April 2, 2025. The LADOTD is completing their final inspection of the work and this date is subject to change.

The 2025 toll rates and vehicle class categories for the Belle Chasse Bridge are pictured below. They are also available by visiting www.geauxpass.com/tolling.

The community is encouraged to create an account with GeauxPass, Louisiana’s state-wide interoperable tolling system. Each vehicle requires its own GeauxPass transponder sticker, which are free to obtain. Using a GeauxPass offers ease of conveyance over the bridge and a reduced toll rate in every category. Drivers who opt not to use a GeauxPass will receive a toll invoice mailed to the address connected to their vehicle registration.

While GeauxPass registration via www.geauxpass.com or the mobile app remain the most convenient options, in-person, local registration opportunities continue to be provided. There has been a series of these events in 2025. Additional customer service resources are being added to further support the remaining GeauxPass registration events, including a wider variety of assisted account creation methods.

Plaquemines Parish residents are reminded that to qualify for the resident toll rate they must use a GeauxPass, operate a Class 1 vehicle and establish proof of residency by providing a driver's license and vehicle registration. These documents must both display an address in Plaquemines Parish.

All individuals opening a new GeauxPass account must prefund their account with $30.
