You might ask — why would someone take a small motorboat thousands of miles to the edge of the map?

The answer… is layered.

Part of it is simple: I love life. I love the water. And I want to keep doing what I love for as long as I can.

Most people slow down with age — take shorter trips, fish closer to shore.

I’m doing the opposite. I’m trying to sail away from aging and if i sail far enough maybe ill outdistance that demon.

I’ve never had enough time on the water. Day trips, weekends, even long vacations — they never felt like enough.

This journey… 30 days on the sea, pushing myself — this is the chance to finally feel sated.

Ever since I was a kid wandering past curfews or biking all day just to see what was around the next corner…

I’ve always had to know what’s just beyond the horizon.

And yes — it’s a massive challenge. It’s aggressive.

But it’s possible, because of months of planning.

And because I know that when I finally return home…

I’ll have gone far enough to silence that question inside me —

What if I had kept going?”
