Beautiful home!!

This property is gorgeous inside and outside. It is located across from Schlitterbahn and walking distance to the Comal for tubing. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and feels like a real home. This house is the cleanest rental I have ever been to. I own a rental also and can see the hard work the owners put in to keep this place so great!! We plan to come back every year 😊👍

Review #12209800 “Rose Cottage is Perfect!”
My husband, son, and I stayed in Rose Cottage for 3 of the best nights we've ever had in a Home Away rental. We could never list all of the amenities provided at this perfect New Braunfels home! Clean, beautiful, modern but cozy-we really didn't want to leave.
When they say that you are within walking distance to everything, it is not an exaggeration. We were walking through the gate to Schlitterbahn after a 3 minute walk from Rose Cottage's front door. Floating the Comal is about the same, and the Guadalupe is right down the road. You can shop and sight see without ever getting in the car, but if you do want to drive, you can be in Gruene or Buc-ee's (our son would live in Buc-ee's if he could) in 5 to 10 minutes.
Rose Cottage is quiet and so comfortable. Perfect for a family of 3, but would easily work for 4. We will absolutely stay again and again on return visits.

Wonderful home and service!
I stayed in this wonderful home over the Memorial Day weekend. The manager and owner were incredibly kind and accommodating. The location was perfect with access to downtown and Schlitterbahn across the street. Great for kids and adults alike! It was truly an outstanding experience. I would definitely come back!

Great Home for Large Family Get-Together
Our extended family enjoyed a wonderful weekend get-away at "Bougan Villa" to celebrate daughter's 30th birthday. This home offers a great location, well-stocked kitchen, numerous sleeping/bathroom accommodations, convenient to town and within walking distance to the Schlitterbahn. Kathy was very responsive to our specific requests and the homeowner has kept everything up-to-date and fresh within the home, even brand new bathroom towels! Despite the rainy weather, we were able to enjoy the beautiful garden out back under the covered area. Parking is not a problem in the alley; however, the house is on a busy street, and ocassionally noise from auto/bus traffic can be heard. We were all very pleased to have such a great place to gather together - thank you for sharing your spacious, yet cozy home with us!

Great NB Home
I stayed in the cottage for a month while relocating to Texas. I could not have ask for a better experience. Lore and Kathy made sure that everything was perfect, including an instant social life! Texas hospitality is alive and well in this exceptional rental. It is a great location. Downtown is within walking distance. Great restaurants and delicious baked goods are easy to find in this lovely Central Texas town.

Review #8955070 Charming, spacious house right next to the Schlitterbahn

For almost 10 years, I've been making the pilgrimage to the Schlitterbahn with about ten other friends, and every year, we've had to find a different house for the weekend. But after staying at Bougan Villa, it looks like we've found our "permanent" home. This house is incredibly spacious and comfortably fit the 12 of us (everyone had a bed). We loved the charming (but tasteful) decor, and we made great use of the backyard, which has a gazebo and two swings. The house was clean and felt recently refurbished. The owner is very pleasant and professional, and she even left us a strudel! And the location!!! We literally crossed the street to go to the Schlitterbahn, which meant members of our group could go home at any point during the day, whether they wanted to grab a snack or take a nap. I highly recommend this property, and our group fully intends on returning to it next summer.

Review #8908370 Just a perfect place to stay in New Braunfels!

We had a 3-generation reunion with 11 people and there was definitely room for more. The location is perfect and the owner is really on top of things. It's a short walk to Rockin-R on the Comal, 3 minutes to Schlitterbahn, and downtown is only a 15 min walk away. Bougan-Villa was nicely furnished and very clean, with everything you need sans groceries. The first comment from the kids was "This place is so cool!"...I think the snow-cone stand around the corner helped. So glad we chose this property, I've stayed in New Braunfels on and off the river for 20 years, and this was just the best. We'll be back.
