Today was a fantastic, utterly gorgeous morning at Bridgeton Harbor Marina, where I met a wonderful customer on his beautiful catamaran who tried to swap out his port side starter solenoid but ended up hooking up several wires backwards, because who needs instructions, right, 🤣 and voila, several wires were nicely toasted. After doing some tests, the wires were replaced and correctly wired, and the customer is thrilled he can now start and shut off his engine without needing a fire extinguisher.

Just a heads up, the muskrats have been having a field day with this boat down at New Bern Grand Marina, using its engine's exhaust as their personal buffet entrance. They’ve been munching their way through the exhaust boot like it's a tasty veggie straw. Once they got into the engine compartment, it was like they hit the salad jackpot, chewing on everything in sight. Luckily, the owner sprang into action and put the kibosh on the muskrat salad bar rather quickly.
