Wow what an honor!
The Nevada City Bike Bus received the Outstanding Service Award from the
-Our Bike Bus is made possible because of the amazing volunteers in our community. The local Law Enforcement and Probation Department who show up every week to help keep our group of kids safe while they ride to school. The volunteers that provide snacks for kids when they arrive at school, and the volunteers who show up for the ride and help manage intersections.
If you haven’t yet, I strongly encourage you to come out on a Friday morning and experience the joy this brings to so many!

When they say “it takes a village”
With the Nevada City Bike Bus, it really does take a village! It’s all the parts, the Nevada City School district, the Miners MTB team, multiple local law enforcement agencies, and countless individual volunteers. We really do have something special here, and cute puppies.
It just keeps getting better!💕

Team riders with the Miners MTB team will ride Bike Bus with us, and snacks will be hosted by the Team…
Also, a team member with will be joining us with a special treat for those riding the Bike Bus!!

🚴‍♂️ Pioneer Park at 7:20am on Friday. Arrive at least ten minutes early for parking!
