Dinner Trains are departing soon from Nashville Main Street!

National Donut Day is just around the Corner! And we're having a party on the Train June 3 to celebrate! The Willacoochee to Valdosta train departs from Willacocohee at 10:00AM with a layover in Nashville, & lunch is served onboard! All riders will also receive hot and fresh donuts from our local partner, Daylight Donuts!!!

We celebrated National Train Day today onboard one of our popular Pizza Trains! And in the spirit of National Train Day, we also wanted to release a sneak peak of our historic #5000 E8 Locomotive which will be pulling Azalea Sprinter trains starting late Fall. Its only about half-way finished on the cosmetic upgrades, so stay tuned for updates!

CaterParrott Railnet [CPR] #5000 started its life on New York Central [NYC] as #4084 pulling NYC trains Lake Shore Limited, Empire State Express and countless others. Through various mergers, it ended up pulling the New Georgia Railroad Excursion program trains as #6902 starting in the 1980s, then sold to private owner Brent Thompson, who ran the unit on Tennessee Central Railway excursions until 2021. CPR acquired the unit at that time. Once back in charge of excursion trains, we look forward to having Mr. Thompson climb back onboard and once again operate his pride and joy. Happy Train Day! Toot-toot!
