It is official.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is reopening on May 3, 2026, at Magic Kingdom.

And if you didn’t know… this is my absolute favorite ride.🫶

This is not just a reopening.
The entire ride has been refurbished, with a new track, updated scenes, and even more storytelling.

And maybe you guessed it… row 15 is calling my name.
If you know, you know.
Now the real question is…
Will it feel the same, or even better?

The height requirement remains 38 inches, which makes this a great next step thrill ride for families.
