On my last day in Nashville I had to make it over to The Country Music Hall of Fame! I loved it all! Also, channeled my inner Beth Dutton while trying on cowgirl hats at a cute local boutique. Then my sister and I had lunch at Dessano’s and enjoyed some delicious icecream from Hattie’s!
We ran over to the 12/30 Club for a cocktail (Beauty School Dropout) and to listen to for a bit. How sweet of him to come over and say hello. Can’t wait to see where his journey takes him! He’s incredibly talented and so very kind. Just saw he’s performing at Watershed August 4th-6th as a new act with headliners Bryan Urban Johnson !!! How epic is that!!!
We stopped by Red Telephone Booth, which is a speakeasy and cigar bar, before heading home. You have to secure an exclusive phone number from a member, concierge or friend and dial it into a restored London antique red phone booth to gain entry. The door wasn’t working (booo) but luckily we were guests of a dear friend who was inside waiting on us, so the kind concierge came out and escorted us in. It has a really cool vibe inside and my cocktail was delicious. It was called the Bramble without Gin added Vodka and sugared the rim for perfection! I also tried the Aviation that tasted very similar to a lemon drop however the base was gin. I will definitely have to make a point to come here again!
Headed back to the hotel to take in an amazing view of this beautiful city at night from the rooftop before heading home.
Nashville you have my heart! I’ve never felt so at home in such a busy town. I literally sang, danced, and made new friends every single night. I’ve been to a lot of cities across the USA but I have to say this is definitely one my faves! With being such a short drive from Indy, may have to come visit often!

Last day of a wonderful conference for me … then it was off to a night of music, dancing, and fun with some awesome people!!!

We had 7 events in 6 hours!!! (Well that was the goal but unfortunately we only made it to 4! Sad face.)

We started our evening out at Tequila Cowboy with fantastic live music and food!

Then we made our way to Wildhorse Saloon! This place was AWESOME and so big! There was a special appearance by Aaron Tippin who was absolutely outstanding! He put on such a great performance! I did all the things:

✅ Rode a bull
✅ Country line danced
✅ Bar crawled

Met our new friends at Kid Rock’s Big A$$ H***y Tonk and oh did we bring the party! Lol! I requested Mr. Brightside and they played it right then and everyone made their way to the dance floor to join me singing and dancing!!! After that song the musician from the band gave me his guitar pic! you and your band were AMAZING and so entertaining!!!

We ended our night at Marathon Music Works!!! It was a huge FIESTA!!! The DJ was incredible. From Latin music to ‘Lil Jon I never left the dance floor … music and dancing just give me life!!! It was a great way to end the evening or the weee hours of the morning! Lol!

After another full day of conference I was ready for some after hours shenanigans!
4 events in 6 hours - LET’S GO!
We started out with drinks, dancing, and mingling at Music City Center as guests of Air Service Hawaii. I learned how to work a lasso to rope a bull! Of course this country girl got in on the first try! Met so many wonderful people including the chaps from the UK with the coolest boots ever!!! / Next stop was Johnny Cash’s Bar where we enjoyed some food and great conversation with some fantastic people from London. Nikki, Rick, and Richard I will definitely have to say hello when I’m there next! / The fun continued at the Wild Horse Saloon! 3 floors of fun! A Mechanical Bull on the first floor, s’mores and country line dancing on the 2nd, and …. Well no one could get me off the dance floor to make it to the 3rd!!! Lol! I was approached by the sweetest man from Guatemala who put a “Heart of the Mayan World” friendship bracelet on me. I made two wishes while he tied the first and second knot and while tying the third he made a wish for me that I would visit Guatemala and enjoy the historic, cultural, and natural heritage and most of all the hospitality of their people. ADD IT TO THE LIST!!! Who’s up for a trip south of the border with me??? / We then were whisked away to our last destination for the night by a couple of our business partners. Unfortunately, don’t remember the name of the place in East Nashville but the band, Cameron Jayne, was fantastic by the way! Would have loved to hear Wonderwall or Mr. Brightside but you know I still couldn’t stop these tiny feet from dancing to Brickhouse! All of this live music and dancing has been so good for my soul! / Thank you to my business partner for getting us back to our hotel safe at the end of the night and snagging me a cool cowgirl hat!!! He’s truly the best!!!

After being at conference all day I was ready for some great food and fun!
We were invited to dinner at Eddie V’s Prime Seafood. This is a MUST when you come to Nashville. Cocktails: I tried a sip of “The Hope Diamond” before ordering the “24k Karat”. The “24 Karat” was my favorite which was topped with a gold flecked sugar rim. It was the perfect mix of raspberries and Rosé.
For starters we enjoyed The Shellfish Tower, Prime Steak Tataki, and the South African Lobster Bites (which were my FAVE!!!!) After savoring those we enjoyed either the Lobster Bisque, Burrata and Beet Salad, or Classic Caesar. I had never had a beet before in my life … it wasn’t bad … I would say it tasted like a warm carrot straight from the ground with dirt still on it! Lol! Then they brought out my main dish, The Chilean Sea Bass. AHHH DELISH! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Now for the best part … DESSERT - Bananas Foster Butter Cake and Hot Chocolate Godiva Cake!!! YUMMY!!! I loved them both the same so my recommendation is GET BOTH!
We sat down at dinner as strangers with those at the table and after several rounds of drinks, great conversations, and tons of laughs, we left as friends and business partners!!! We carried on the fun down the way to Dierks Bentley’s for live music and dancing! Meeting up and coming artist, Landon Parker, was so cool! (He’s the perfect mix of humble, kind, and talented!) The local band with lead singer, Francelle, was awesome and played one of my faves: Save A Horse Ride A Cowboy! We don’t know a stranger, and after lots of dancing and singing with folk from different states and Canada, it was time to call it night!
Now I know why they call it Nashvegas … the city is so lively and never sleeps! Nashville day 2 you did not disappoint.

Work trip = GIRLS TRIP (with my mom and sister!)

We were welcomed to Music City by the kindest people ever! We arrived just in time to grab a quick dinner at Barlines and watch the 49ers get a win! I highly recommend the “Lynchburg Lemonade” and the “Smoked Caprese Sandwich”.

After filling our bellies we headed to the Hidden Bar on 4th Street … we did not follow the red light and enter through the secret entrance on Church Street instead we entered in the front of the hotel, crashed the Wyndham work party, (completely underdressed by the way), and lost all sense of time. We were escorted down to this hideaway nestled below Printers Alley where we found an awesome vibe and great cocktails. My drink of choice of course was the “Lipstick and Heels” while my mom enjoyed the “Jungle Bird”. As mentioned earlier we crashed a work party where the women were dressed in beautiful gowns and the men sported the best shoes around. (Peep a couple of the photos!) We met some of the best locals and enjoyed great conversations! Well … not everyone was from Nashville - believe it or not we also met an Englishman from Northern England. (Fun fact: the last trip my mom and I went on to Disney we met a few guys from Northern England as well!) We also met Joseph with great hair and a strong southern accent, Andrew who was former military and just started at the Wyndham, and a great couple who we didn’t get their names but were so much fun! It took us several tries to get a photo of us three without additional people but we managed to get a great shot! Knowing we have a busy week ahead we called an Uber a little before midnight to head back to our hotel … Jake, our driver, was the best!

Getting a little shut eye before the start of the conference tomorrow and all the exciting events ahead! I don’t think there will be much time for rest this week … I mean how can you sleep when you are in Nashville, TN!!!
