On my last day in Nashville I had to make it over to The Country Music Hall of Fame! I loved it all! Also, channeled my inner Beth Dutton while trying on cowgirl hats at a cute local boutique. Then my sister and I had lunch at Dessano’s and enjoyed some delicious icecream from Hattie’s!
We ran over to the 12/30 Club for a cocktail (Beauty School Dropout) and to listen to for a bit. How sweet of him to come over and say hello. Can’t wait to see where his journey takes him! He’s incredibly talented and so very kind. Just saw he’s performing at Watershed August 4th-6th as a new act with headliners Bryan Urban Johnson !!! How epic is that!!!
We stopped by Red Telephone Booth, which is a speakeasy and cigar bar, before heading home. You have to secure an exclusive phone number from a member, concierge or friend and dial it into a restored London antique red phone booth to gain entry. The door wasn’t working (booo) but luckily we were guests of a dear friend who was inside waiting on us, so the kind concierge came out and escorted us in. It has a really cool vibe inside and my cocktail was delicious. It was called the Bramble without Gin added Vodka and sugared the rim for perfection! I also tried the Aviation that tasted very similar to a lemon drop however the base was gin. I will definitely have to make a point to come here again!
Headed back to the hotel to take in an amazing view of this beautiful city at night from the rooftop before heading home.
Nashville you have my heart! I’ve never felt so at home in such a busy town. I literally sang, danced, and made new friends every single night. I’ve been to a lot of cities across the USA but I have to say this is definitely one my faves! With being such a short drive from Indy, may have to come visit often!
