Wow. I was truly having one of my harder days as a small business owner- feeling especially discouraged that I was watching the ideas and plans I poured hours and hours of my heart and mind into work so well for someone. It was one of those days where it really felt like there was no point to try to keep this going…
Maybe that’s exactly what I needed to remind myself of where the idea of Junk Therapy came from. It’s never just been about hauling things away. It’s about helping families during stressful times, keeping usable items out of landfills and in the hands of people who need them, and continuing to mentor young people in a structured, real life environment to learn accountability, responsibility, and skills as they continue to make it in the world, while also building something that could support my family (there’s a lot of little faces in this picture who deserve that).
I just want to express how truly grateful I am for all of the likes, shares, and kind words on this post. Starting Junk Therapy has been a huge leap for me and my family, and seeing the support from friends, family, and even people I don’t know personally means more than I can put into words.
From the bottom of my/ my family’s heart, thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read, share, and believe in what we’re doing.
