We are currently looking for a CDL driver to operate a grapple truck and move equipment for our company. Looking for someone energetic and willing and able to help with railroad labor when we aren't moving equipment. As a Railroad Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the construction and maintenance of railroad tracks and other related infrastructure.

Job Title: CDL Driver/ Laborer To Operate Multiple Pieces of Equipment ( Grapple Truck, Low-boy, Landall, Etc)

Position Overview: As a CDL Driver/ Railroad Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the construction and maintenance of railroad tracks and other related infrastructure.

Reports To: Railroad Construction Foreman

Key Responsibilities:

*Assist in the construction and maintenance of railroad tracks, bridges, and other related infrastructure
*Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including jackhammers, drills, and saws
*Load and unload materials and equipment
*Clean and prepare construction sites
*Follow safety procedures and guidelines
*Move equipment to and from job sites
*Other duties as assigned by the Railroad Construction Foreman

Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment and materials
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
Must be able to work in a physically demanding role

Qualifications
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid Driver's License with no restrictions.
• High School education or general education (GED) or 3 to 6 months job-related experience; or equivalent of education and experience.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check
• The team member in this job must be able to pass Track Ground School, GCOR Written Test, Roadway Worker Protection Written Test, Fall Protection Written Test, Maintenance of Way Safety Written Test, MSHA/OSHA Training and Certification (if required on site), and CWR Written Test.

Skills and Abilities
• Must have the ability to recognize problems, apply common sense and understanding to carry out written and oral instructions.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to have a flexible work schedule.
• Must have knowledge of and be able to apply the Roadway Protection Rules and the FRA Track Safety Standards.
• Must have the ability to apply concepts of basic math and calculate figures.
• Must have the ability to perform duties without direct supervision.
