Buyer Beware: The Boat House Naples, Fl and The Boat House of Cape Coral

My partner and I purchased a brand new boat (Sea Chaser by Carolina Skiff) at the end of June this year. We noticed several problems (25 to be specific) with the hull and factory installed T-Top of the boat. We brought this to the attention of the owners of Tom Hanson and Al Lewis. Warranty work was attempted at the location in Cape Coral, but they could not complete. The boat was then sent to Georgia to the home office for repairs, but the work was STILL not completed (and more damage was done en route). We still do not have the boat (missed the entire summer, lobster season and a 3 week vacation!) They have subsequently returned the boat AGAIN to Georgia for more repairs. We have now requested for reimbursement for our money spent on the boat and electronics and we have not had the boat since mid-July.

We are frustrated and incredulous to the Boat House's and Carolina Skiff's lack of integrity. When I requested from the owners to be reimbursed so we could purchase another boat, quote "that's not going to happen."

Please beware- more research on our part could have saved some heartache (there are several complaints).

Moms found some things wrong with me so I have to go back to Carolina Skiff for some warranty work. (sigh) will I ever see the water again?!?!? I miss my home...
