JEM Logistics Group I began my career as a dock worker with USA Carriers. As my passion for the field grew, I served in a volunteer position with an industry advocacy group.

My name is Martin Mantilla, and I've spent the entirety of my career learning the ins and outs of the pool point distribution and final mile retail store delivery industry. Here, I developed the foundational skills that allowed me to obtain both general and regional management positions within the company, and eventually serve as Vice President. From here, I went on to hold two additional VP posit

ions and eventually serve as Chief Operating Officer of another logistics organization. When the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted normalcy for most of society, our operations were not immune. In 2020, final mile retail store delivery came to a halt during the world’s mass shutdown. During this period, I devoted my time to serving with a local nonprofit, Project Hope CA. As board members, my wife and I help to promote the organization’s effort of empowering the community through mentorship, reentry services, and local engagement. Today, I serve as Managing Director of my own company, JEM Logistics Group. My own professional development has inspired me to invest in the next generation of industry leaders. Through an emphasis on growth and engagement, I have had the privilege to mentor countless individuals into leadership roles. With the perspective of someone who has advanced from dock worker to COO themself, I am passionate about helping industry professionals develop their careers and achieve their goals. Identifying and recruiting the right talent for cohesive teams. The last three decades serving in these various roles have given me diverse industry experience. Getting to work in every position from volunteer to company founder has given me valuable insight into the functions of each unique role that makes up a successful logistics operation. No matter which position I held, my professional background has always been centered around finding inventive ways to optimize logistical processes, reducing both cost and waste for the clients I serve. I take pride in JEM Logistics Group’s involvement during every step of the delivery process. Whether it be providing support to our retailers during peak seasons and holidays or assisting with final-mile delivery operations, a feet-on-the-ground approach has earned us lasting relationships with clients who continue to look to JEM as their trusted logistics partner.
