Airport is open! The paving and painting on runway 18/36 is complete, so it’s time again to make airplane noise and poke holes in the sky. But please be cautious around the ramp and taxiways for some potential loose materials or debris. The big dirt pile by the fuel pumps is scheduled to be removed around the Wednesday, Oct 1.

UPDATE: 9/24
The painting crew will now be painting the runway on Thursday, so we now expect the runway to be open on Friday, Sept, 26.

Paving is complete! But we are still awaiting striping to be completed so the runway is still closed. Tentative opening is Thursday Sept 25 or Friday Sept 26. Stay tuned!

Runway construction update: The new base stabilization has been laid and we are giving it three days to fully cure. We hope to begin paving the morning of Tuesday, Sept 23, with striping that night. So, pending good weather we hope to have the airfield open on Wednesday, Sept 24. Stay tuned for more updates!

**UPDATE** 9/17
It was discovered that additional repairs are required for runway 18/36 before repaving can begin. Tentative re-opening of the airport is now delayed to Thursday, Sept. 25 or later. Stay tuned for more updates.

Our runway repaving project is underway! The airport will be closed while work is being performed. This includes both the north/south paved and east/west grass runways. The residential taxiways will remain open. However, please be cautious of vehicles and debris

We hope to have the airport reopened on Friday, Sept 19. Stay tuned for updates!
