Wishing the happiest birthday to Mister Maxx!
For those who may not know Maxx, he’s the type of guy who lights up the room when he walks in. He would take the shirt off his back to help others.
We are so proud to have him as our right hand man at Anderson’s Stillwater Moorings.

We couldn’t love you more if we tried! Wishing you the best always. Happy birthday! 💙⚓️

Tuesday, July 18th @ 4:30 at the Nantucket Yacht Club! FREE & open to the public!

The Nantucket Land Council is pleased to present its 7th Annual State of the Harbor Forum. This year we look forward to welcoming Dr. Alyssa Novak, Assistant Research Professor of Boston University, to present on The Impacts of Nutrient Enriched Waters and Sea-Surface Temperatures on the Eelgrass Populations of Nantucket Island.

-
In 2018 and 2020, the Nantucket Land Council worked with Dr. Novak to assess the health of eelgrass meadows located at multiple sites in Nantucket and Madaket harbors. Dr. Novak collected information on various eelgrass plant parameters and assessed their sources of nitrogen through stable isotope analysis. The presentation will feature a discussion of her results, their implications, and how we can work towards restoring eelgrass populations in the waters of Nantucket.

A raw bar and cocktail reception will follow.

A huge thank you to our 2023 sponsors: , , and Visco Pumping, Inc. , .marine, , , Nantucket Engineering & Survey, PC,
