On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 4386, the America the Beautiful Motorcycle Fairness Act by voice vote. If signed into law, this bill would make permanent the two motorcycle per America the Beautiful Annual pass policy that was reinstated at the request of the AMA earlier this year.

This passed the House, is now headed to the Senate, and if passed there, then goes to President Trump for signature and passage into law.

"The American Motorcyclist Association applauds Representative Walberg and the U.S. House of Representatives for their swift action to reinstate the two‑motorcycle‑per‑pass policy,” said AMA Board Chair Tom Umphress. “This legislation is especially meaningful as we celebrate America 250 and recognize our National Parks as some of the most cherished destinations for riders."

It was 10 years ago today that my life changed permanently due to a driver intentionally running us off the road into a cable barrier at 65 mph. I had one shattered vertebra, 14 other fractured vertebrae, all my ribs were fractured, my left foot was broken in 5 places, my wrist was broken, and a traumatic brain injury. I didn't go home for 3 months. But, God had a plan: I have an amazing life now, even with my limitations and disabilities. I have a life I could never have had without the crash happening, I can (and do) still ride, and I am thankful every day for what I have.
