Last month, we took our fully restored 1937 school bus to the car show at Grace Bible Church.

We loved hearing stories, answering questions, and sharing a little piece of school transportation history with the community. School buses have changed over the years, but still serve the same important purpose… getting students to and from school safely.

Thanks to everyone who came out, visited with us, and helped make it such a great day. We always enjoy opportunities to share our history and connect with our community.

As another school year comes to a close, we want to thank the students, families, schools, and community members who have allowed Brown Bus Company to be part of your daily lives.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of watching so many students grow up right before our eyes. From little kindergarteners climbing onto the bus for the first time, to young adults preparing for their next chapter. The smiles, conversations, and memories made along the way mean more to us than words can say.

We hope everyone has a fun, relaxing, and safe summer. Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Please note that Brown Bus Company will be closed on Monday in observance of Memorial Day and will reopen on Tuesday.

From all of us at Brown Bus Company, we wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend.

Last weekend at the Small Town America Parade, we were overwhelmed by the love and support shown to Brown Bus Company.

Hearing community members call out things like “We love you Brown Bus!” and “We miss you and want you back!” meant more to us than words can express. After 67 years of serving this community, those heartfelt comments reminded us just how special the relationships we’ve built truly are.

Thank you to everyone who waved, cheered, and shared kind words with our drivers and staff. Your support, loyalty, and encouragement have touched our entire Brown Bus family.

Happy National Idaho Day!

Today we’re celebrating the state we are proud to call home. Brown Bus Company’s roots began right here in Idaho, and for 67 years we’ve been honored to safely serve the students and families of Nampa and the surrounding communities. Brown Bus Company, Nampa, recently hosted the 2026 Bus Road-E-O.

Drivers competed in challenging obstacle courses, and written exams on transportation laws. Events like this highlight just how much professionalism, training, and dedication school bus drivers bring to the job.

Today, we celebrate Mother’s Day!

From our drivers and aides to our dispatchers and office staff, so many of our employees spend their days not only caring for their own families, but also caring for the children on our buses.

We acknowledge the incredible mothers of the students we safely transport, the mothers who are part of our Brown Bus family, and all mothers in the community.

National Bike to School Day is Tomorrow! If your student is biking to school tomorrow, please remember:

•Wear a helmet
•Follow all traffic rules
•Stay visible and alert
•Ride on safe, familiar routes

We encourage commuters to pay extra attention for pedestrians and cyclists.

And of course, Brown Bus Company is always here to provide a safe, reliable ride for students who choose to travel with us. No matter how they get there, what matters most is that they arrive safely and ready to learn!
