🎩 This one came with a little Myrtle Beach history…

Today, Mad Hatter Hauling had the opportunity to help clear out and salvage items from the old Burro Loco building before demolition.

For me, this one was a little surreal. I actually remember eating here as a kid, and after sitting vacant for years, today I found myself walking through the old restaurant deciding what could still be saved before the building comes down.

And apparently my definition of “worth saving” includes giant mermaids hanging from the ceiling. 🧜‍♀️😂
Obviously, they couldn’t stay behind.

We came away with everything from commercial shelving and metal fixtures to some of the wonderfully weird décor that gave places like this so much personality.

One of my favorite parts of what I do is finding another life for things whenever possible. Sometimes a cleanout isn’t just about getting rid of what’s there. It’s about recognizing what doesn’t need to become trash.

So today was part cleanout, part salvage mission, and a little walk through old Myrtle Beach memories. 💜

Here's a quick guide to the hauling and cleanup services we provide. Whether you need a single item gone, a larger cleanout, or some extra help getting your home fresh and clean, our services are designed around what you actually need.

Hauling Services:

We offer several hauling options depending on the size of your job. Our smaller 5x8 trailer has a $100 minimum service call, while our larger hauling options start at $200.

Pricing is based on more than just how "full" a trailer looks. We consider the volume, weight, type of items, accessibility, disposal costs, and labor involved. For example, the floor of the dump trailer may be covered, but if the items aren't stacked and using the trailer's full capacity, that doesn't automatically mean you're paying the maximum price.

The attached pricing guides will give you a good starting point, and photos are always helpful when providing an estimate.

Cleaning Services:

Our cleaning services are tailored to YOUR needs, with free, no-obligation estimates for both residential and commercial cleaning.

Need a move-in or move-out clean? Weekly or monthly help? Just the bathroom? Baseboards and crown molding you can't easily reach anymore? Or maybe it's an "Oh my gosh, we have company coming this weekend," situation?

We've got you covered.

There’s always an adventure!

Roseberry is getting a few tweaks done this week and our new signs came in!!

It’s feeling great to get these on to advertise driving around, thanks Eleven-Seven Design!

Very soon the wrap will be around Roseberry’s cab and I’m busting at the seams to show what her new look will be!

Roseberry needed a heavy detail on the inside and boy did she get that today! 😮‍💨

Roseberry has fresh rear lights 🙌🏼

It was an about a 6 hour feat but dad and I got them on and boy she’s super bright now!

She has an appointment next week to get a few things fixed but after we are going straight to the wrap shop!

I feel like a race horse at the gate about to bust out we are so close to getting her working 🏇💨

We have mushrooms and new lights!

Started with new headlight housing, side and turn bulbs. Much brighter now 🤩

Gotta give the inside a good cleaning and add the fun little things for the Alice in Wonderland decor. 🍄🎩

The rear, side marker and clearance lights are another day, it got too hot for this chick 🐥
