A little cross-border teamwork on the water! 🇨🇦 🇺🇸

The Canadian Coast Guard recently reached out with a request to conduct small boat training alongside the Samuel de Champlain and Innovation. ⚓

The lifeboat crew made multiple approaches to both tug and barge, providing hands-on training for coxswain qualification.

Captain Karl Hardesty was onboard during the training and said it brought back some fond memories of his own time serving in the Coast Guard.
