This week, we’re taking a moment to recognize Gail Wilson and the experience, dedication, and hard work she brings to the TanTara Transportation team.

Gail has been part of the TanTara family for 5 years, and we’re grateful to have her on the road with us.

What really makes Gail stand out is that she is a great owner operator, she runs a tight ship, and she is a sweetheart. We love seeing her purple truck. She is the kind of driver you can count on, and she consistently goes the extra mile to make sure the job gets done safely and right.

Behind every load is a person who makes it happen, and we’re proud to recognize Gail for the experience, dedication, and pride she brings to her work every day.

Thank you, Gail, for all the miles you put in and everything you do for TanTara! We appreciate you! 👏🚛

In September, TanTara's Lorenzo Crowther was nominated for Iowa's 2026 Outstanding Professional Driving award. Lorenzo has been with TanTara for over 10 years and specializes in steel hauling. Lorenzo's expert load securement techniques, superior safe driving record, professionalism and, out of the box thinking, are just a few things that earned him this prestigious nomination.

We are happy to have Lorenzo as a part of our team!

Rest in peace, Gary Zillyette. Gary worked at TanTara as a truck driver before moving into our service center where he worked for the last 6 years as a mechanic. In March of this year, Gary was promoted to Parts & Service Advisor. Sadly, in May he was diagnosed with brain cancer and was forced to resign as his condition worsened. Gary passed away yesterday after a 5 month fight. Gary was a great person and someone that we relied on heavily in our Service Center. Reach up and pull the horn for Gary today. We will miss him.
