🔬✨ Did you know the Tennessee STEAM Festival got its start right here in Murfreesboro?

Created by the Discovery Center at Murfree Spring what began as a local celebration has grown into a statewide event bringing together schools, museums, libraries, universities, businesses, and organizations across Tennessee.

Each October, the festival celebrates science, technology, engineering, art, and math through hands-on experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and learning for all ages. 🧪🎨⚙️

Congratulations to Ivy Albright, Director of Cultural Heritage Tourism for the Rutherford County Convention & Visitors Bureau, on being named the 2026 Tennessee Stars of the Industry DMO Director of the Year by the Tennessee Hospitality & Tourism Association (TNHTA)!

Presented during the Tennessee Governor’s Conference on Hospitality & Tourism, the annual Stars of the Industry Awards recognize outstanding individuals and organizations making a meaningful impact on Tennessee’s hospitality and tourism industry.

Since joining the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau in September 2025, Ivy has helped expand cultural heritage tourism throughout Rutherford County through collaboration, preservation and innovative visitor experiences.

We are proud to see Ivy’s dedication to Rutherford County and Tennessee tourism recognized with this well-deserved honor. Congratulations, Ivy!
