These shelves are made from reclaimed floor boards and plumbing fittings that are re-purposed into shelf supports.

This material is reclaimed Pine and Douglas Fir that used to be floor boards in an early 1900's Victorian in upstate NY. Don't be fooled by the imitation "reclaimed" material that is popping up everywhere in the big box stores.

This wood has character and a story! Its easy to see that this material came from trees that were grown and harvested at the turn of the century.

The top side of the shelf has been surfaced to a smooth and cleanable texture, while the bottom of the shelf retains the rustic beauty that was hidden for more than 100 years since it was the underside of the floor board.

The standard size shelf measures 6" deep x 30" long, with two supports. I'm able to customize the size so if you need something longer than 30" please let me know!
