MV YIMBY Community members advocating for more affordable, sustainable housing options in Mountain View. Now you can do something about it! Come join us!

Do you live in or near Mountain View and hate the skyrocketing rents? Mountain View YIMBY supports increasing the housing supply to support diverse communities, which means designing a city for people of different income levels, preferred modes of transportation, and family sizes. Our group started as MV Voters for Housing Diversity, which was founded in August 2014 by concerned Mountain View resi

dents. We are now affiliated with South Bay YIMBY and YIMBY Action. We're engaging with the community to learn about residents' concerns, and we're doing voter registration and education to get out the vote in city elections. MV YIMBY is not authorized by any candidate or committee controlled by a candidate.

Huge thank you to Mayor Lucas Ramirez, Vice Mayor Hicks, and Council Member Pat Showalter, City Council for joining us! We cant wait to see the new path you set for the city with a progressive housing element.

We are proud of the progress our city has done. There is still a lot of work left to do, but we are thankful for a community that pushes for more housing and a city council who took the votes to get these housing plans and projects through.

Thank you to Mayor Ellen Kamei, Vice Mayor Lucas Ramirez, Council members Margaret Abe-Koga, Mountain View Mayor, Sally Lieber, Pat Showalter, Alison Hicks and Lisa Matichak!
