Absolute fantastic turn out for the 9th Annual Moonshiners PPG/C fly in. 219 Pilots brought 80 guests with them to make a total of 299 registered here (I didn’t count the adorable children). The family feeling at this event was clearly evident with everyone helping each other out and I loved all the children running around the apron.
The participants kept safety standards high and I can’t recall hearing of any injuries while performing aviation related activities.
The community wants to thank everyone for the extraordinary effort it took to travel all those miles in order to put on one heck of a show!
Special thanks to Jeffrey King (Hoss), Steve Elks, Tammy Pennington, Bill Pennington, Zahlan McNeil, Skip Holtsclaw, Aaron Simcox, Brad Osborne and Mike Darocha for helping put this whole thing together.
We sincerely hope everyone has a safe trip back home and make plans for next year. Love you all! 🫶

With the Fly-in just days away, we are anticipating and welcoming a few more pilots and spectators alike to the Moonshiners PPG/C festivities.
By opening up free local vender spots we have plenty of food venders of many styles for breakfast, lunch and dinner… you shouldn’t have to pack anything in. We’re going to have a chiropractor, 3d printing, funnel cakes, insurance, clothing and a bunch I can’t remember.
Hoss,Skip and I have cut out an overflow camping area in the area shown in the image. When we get saturated on the main apron, that will be where the overflow goes.
I love this time of year! Anticipation in seeing everyone again.🎉
