📞 Updated Phone Hours & Scheduling Options – Effective Monday, October 19th! 🚌

Starting Monday, October 19th, Knox County Transit will have updated phone hours for scheduling rides, cancellations, and will-calls.

Need to schedule or cancel a ride outside of our phone hours? No problem! Riders can submit requests anytime through voicemail, email, or our online form.

Due to limited staffing, the Knox County Transit office will have reduced phone coverage today.

In addition, our office phones will not be available after 4:30 PM.

We encourage all callers to leave a voicemail if they are unable to reach a staff member. We will return your call as soon as possible.

Knox County Transit will be closed in observance of Indigenous People's Day on Monday, October 12th. Regular scheduled services will resume the following day, October 13th.

💙 A Big Thank You to K&B Mobility! 🛴

Knox County Transit would like to extend our sincere thanks to K & B Mobility, LLC for their generous donation of a motorized scooter to support our DRIVE training program!

DRIVE is an eight-hour training course designed to help our drivers develop the skills needed to safely and respectfully transport older adults and passengers with disabilities. Having this scooter available for training will provide our drivers with valuable hands-on experience and a better understanding of the mobility needs of the passengers we serve.

We would also like to give a special thank you to Mobility Manager Joe Porter for facilitating this generous donation and helping make this training resource possible.

We truly appreciate K&B Mobility's support of our drivers and our commitment to providing safe, accessible, and compassionate transportation to our community! 💙

A piece of jewelry was recently found on one of our vehicle, and we’d love to get it back to its rightful owner!

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Kim Weiss! 🚌

This month, we’re shining the spotlight on Kim Weiss, who has been a valued member of the Knox County Transit team for 8 years!

Kim says one of his favorite things about working at KCT is the friendly and welcoming team of fellow employees. He especially enjoys driving the Kenyon Shuttle, where he gets to interact with students who, according to Kim, are always so polite and kind. 💙

Outside of work, Kim enjoys cheering on Ohio State football 🏈 and, most importantly, spending time with his grandkids. And here’s a fun fact about Kim: both of his children were valedictorians of their graduating classes! 🎓👏

We’re grateful to have Kim behind the wheel and appreciate the dedication, kindness, and positive attitude he brings to KCT every day!

Shoutout to our drivers Paula and Tom, who served as guides for The Ohio State School for the Blind Marching Band during the parade! They walked alongside the musicians to help guide them safely along the route. 💙
