Built in 1891 for the Surrey Sussex and Southampton Railway sold to Argent Lumber company in 1926 bought by Midwest Central Railroad in 1960 ran til 1971 restored by 1988 Midwest Central Railroads Primary Engine

Been awhile since anything has been said The #6 ran great for the 2017 Old Threshers and Midwest Haunted Rails. Once both events were completed she was winterized and in January re-plumbing of the cab started and has since been completed Not only that but the engine was worked on as well. The #6 has been tested with the new cab layout and engine work other than a few twerks here and there that need addressed she ran well.

Engine 6 had a little trouble during Old Threshers Reunion but pulled trains the first 2 days. She was shopped for the rest of the show but between show and now she was repaired and ran for the first weekend of Midwest Haunted Rails

The 2015 operating season is in the books. Engine 12 ran for the North Pole Express #6 is in the shop and will have some work done to it over the winter. Before we know it the 2016 Old Threshers Reunion will be upon us. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Midwest Old Threshers Reunion and Midwest Haunted Rails are in the books Engine 6 ran every day for both events and is now winterized for the year until the next Midwest Old Threshers Reunion. Both events saw great crowds

Been a very long time since anything has been said. The Six ran well for Midwest Haunted Rails and is now waiting for Midwest Old Thresher's which is over 5 months away

The 2014 Old Threshers Reunion is complete next up is Midwest Haunted Rails that occurs in the last three weekends in October. The #6 ran all five days of the 2014 Reunion.

Its been awhile since anything has been said. Not too much has been done to #6. She is resting and awaiting the 2014 Old Threshers Reunion. However her sister engine that worked with her on the Argent Lumber Company, the New Berlin Winfield Railroad Engine #2 is seeing a lot of work recently there has been a new tender made and the tender axles and deck are being worked on. The #2 served the Midwest Central as its primary engine from the early seventies to the mid eighties while #6 was being rebuilt. Looking forward to seeing her run with her Argent Lumber Co. sister #6

The 2013 operating season is complete The #12 ran for this event instead of the #6. The 12 performed very well and there were smiles all over of children who got a chance to go see Santa and take a look in the cab of the engine that got to take them to the North Pole. The New Year will be here and then before you know it the Old Threshers Reunion 2014 will be upon us.

Its been awhile since anything has been posted #6 ran for Midwest Haunted Rails and ran every night. She is now resting comfortably at the Railroad waiting for the next operating season

Old Threshers 2013 has come and gone the #6 performed very well at this years Reunion. She ran all five days. If anybody has any videos or photos feel free to post them. Next up is the Midwest Haunted Rails in October
