Roger's Final Ride

Today we were able to honor the life and legacy of Roger Dunnick.
Roger was a valued member of the GFI family from August 21, 2000, through February 12, 2021. During more than 20 years with GFI, he earned the respect of everyone around him through his professionalism, dependability, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
A proud United States Army First Sergeant, Roger served our country for 22 years before dedicating his career to the trucking industry. At GFI, he reached the remarkable milestone of 2 Million Safe Miles and was honored as GFI Driver of the Year in 2008, 2014, and 2015—achievements that reflected the pride he took in every mile.
More importantly, Roger will be remembered as a friend, a mentor, and a respected member of our GFI family.

Rest easy, Roger. Thank you for your service, your dedication, and the miles you traveled with us. Your final ride may be complete, but your legacy will continue to travel with us every day.

GFI Transport, a third-generation family-owned business with two locations, Mount Joy, PA and Bellefonte, PA is seeking dedicated professional Truck Drivers to join our Transportation Team. Our Drivers play a crucial role in the transportation of many different types of materials across 48 states. This position is based out of Mount Joy, PA

Position Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL driver’s license (no restrictions) Clean MVR
• Ability to complete all paperwork required by customers and accurately upload to paperwork platform, Friendly and Customer service -oriented attitude.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and electronic logging
• Strong Dependability and Communication skills
• Ability to load / unload products safely per customer requirements
• Knowledge of Pneumatic Blower Systems preferred but willing to train

Work Schedule:

• Typical work week, Monday – Friday, out overnight 2-3 nights per week
• Home Weekends
