This past weekend one of our yellow Bottomley trucks rolled through the Truckers Parade Against Cancer with someone very special in our hearts: our driver, Martin. 💛
Most days, you see our trucks out on the highway carrying a load and heading toward the next destination. Saturday, this truck carried a message of love and support. We wanted Martin to see, in a way as big and unmistakable as a bright yellow truck, that he has people standing with him.
Martin is part of the Bottomley family. The miles he has driven matter to us, but the person behind the wheel matters so much more. When one of our own is facing something difficult, we want him to know he does not have to feel alone. Martin, we are thinking of you, cheering you on, and holding you close in our hearts.
A heartfelt thank you to our recruiter, Tia for driving the truck in the parade. Tia, thank you for showing up for Martin and representing all of us with such care. Seeing you beside that truck is a reminder that the people who make up this company are what make it special.
Thank you as well to everyone who put this parade together and to every driver and family who took part. Each truck represented a person, a family, and a reason to keep showing up for one another.
