LumberStash in Minneapolis is doing incredible work salvaging as much lumber from homes being remodeled or demolished as possible. Apparently, this is not legal everywhere, and that’s as confusing as it is infuriating. Everyone talks about “saving the planet,” but these guys are actually taking action to make it happen. Please sign their petition so we can have this not only legal but REQUIRED for every demolition!!!

Also- if you’re looking to start a salvage business contact them! You’d have a customer in me (and a bunch of my clients) for sure!

Air Fryer Aficionados!

Is there a way to safely use an air fryer inside of a cabinet?

My client has a gorgeous new kitchen with an appliance garage, and I’d like to make sure there aren’t any precautions they need to take before using the air fryer inside the cabinet itself.

In June Village of Morton Grove Municipality asked local businesses sponsor and plant a planter on Waukegan or Dempster Ave. So I did!

Isn’t she pretty?! AND right next to my favorite Mexican restaurant Las Fuentes Lincoln Park (the Morton Grove location)! Does your town have and adopt-a-planter program?

It’s the Village of Morton Grove Municipality Community Garage Sale this weekend! I had stuff from 4 houses out (family and friends plus me!)- but we got rained out today!

No worries! Some quick work to get as much inside as possible, and then tarped off the rest. The boxes below are organized by table, so putting them back out tomorrow should be a breeze! But for now, some snuggle time with the kiddo!
