Be sure to let the operator who you speak to and or the driver who you speak to whether you are in a safe or not. Safe neighborhood. This is important. My particular experience. I was in a very unsafe position on an extremely busy State Highway and unfortunately because of the time at night it was I was told it would be a very long wait close to 1 and 1/2 hours. The driver realizing that the area that I was in was in fact very dangerous. Got to me sooner than expected. I am extremely grateful for that, because the whole time I was sitting there I was just waiting for the first careless or drunk driver to hit my non-moving vehicle and literally kill me. And no there was no safe place to stand outside the vehicle. The driver was a very cheerful, considerate and intelligent person. He informed me on the proper way to tow my vehicle, which I didn't realize there was a proper way to tow my vehicle. He kept the conversation upbeat and cheerful, which is a very good thing and a high stress situation and trying to figure out how you're going to get a particular vehicle repaired. If you can't do it, yourself is very stressful. Also, he could see that I was overheated and offered me cold water which I find extremely unique as no other tow truck driver has had that much consideration for me and I am an older woman.
Just a side thought, I am very thankful that I pay for the roadside hazard insurance. I believe on my insurance it cost me an extra $12 a year and considering that an average tow bill can run into the hundreds I believe that that is money well spent.

The tow truck driver pulled up as I started trying to push my vehicle. He had actually just gotten off of the night shift. He did not have to stop. He did not have to take my truck to my house. He did not have to be so kind. But he was and he did. I could not be anymore appreciative. I will never use another towing company. I will always check to see if they can make a call to the vicinity that we need them. Good job NTR y’all have a really good guy working for you, we were blessed. ♥️♥️♥️
