For what it is worth, Chef Jacques Pépin will be hosting a Culinary Cruise aboard Oceanias MS Marina. It will be the 01 November 2016 sailing from Venice to Civitavecchia and will be 10 nights in length. We have requested group space but nothing has been confirmed yet. If we can join in then I fully expect to spend several nights in Venice up front and again several days in Rome before flying home. My thoughts are always about maximizing the experience given the long flights just to get there.

Bob Bender, of Oceania Cruises fame, has finally opened a tasting room for his winery in the Napa area. Since Bob had selected Ralph Lauren to furnish the suites and public rooms on Oceanias newbuilds it is no surprise he did the same for his winery. If you are in the area it would no doubt be interesting to visit.
