Called "Maestro" by those who know his work and loved him, he learned the trade at

the knees of his father, Angelo Siino, who learned the trade from his father in Italy. Although he no longer walks the docks, Frank Siino's legacy of quality craftsmanship lives on today in Monterey Bay Boatworks. Monterey Bay Boatworks carries on the proud tradition of fine craftsmanship found only at a few boatyards in America today. While wood boat repair is a fading art you can often see the beautiful shapes of wooden working boats being repaired on site. For those who still value the best, Monterey Bay Boatworks carries on the tradition. We offer access to all nautical needs including parts, fuel polishing, repairs and haul outs for both motor and sail vessels up to 82 tons and widths of 21 feet. Catamarans and do it yourselfer boat owners welcome.
