This Saturday, August 9th at Rising Sun Campground!! You don’t have to be camping! It’s a free event but we ask that you bring a non perishable item for the local food pantry. The Monterey Fire Department will also be serving breakfast from 8-10!

🚨 IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE 🚨
We’ve just been notified of a blue-green algae bloom in the Tippecanoe River. For everyone’s safety — especially kids and pets — we’re recommending campers stay out of the water until conditions improve

IDEM and the CDC recommends that you:
🔹 Do not swim, wade, or float
🔹 Keep pets away from the river
🔹 Do not drink or cook with river water

These blooms can be toxic and may cause serious health issues for both people and animals. We’re keeping a close eye on the situation and will share updates as we get them.

Camp-o-ween this Saturday October 12th!!🎃🖤

We can’t believe it’s already time for Halloween at the campground!! This is the last weekend we’re open for the season and we can’t wait to see everyone there!🎃🧡👻

Prizes for best costumes, golf cart decorations and site decorations!

You don’t have to be camping, it is open to the public. $5 per adult and no charge for kids. All electric and water sites are booked but we have plenty of primitive right on the river and it looks like the weather is going to be beautiful!
