Our Story

Blue Water Marine has been servicing the White Lake Community since 1991. With over 40 years experience in the boating industry we can help you with most issues.

Over the years keeping up with the changes has been a challenge. As with the auto industry the boat motors have had to meet new standards for emissions. This led the way for more complex fuel and electronic ignition systems. Gone are the days of simple ignition and carburetor fuel systems.

Two cycle engines are becoming dinosaurs! All except for a few high tech two strokes, its now four stroke engines. Majority of the boats on the water today are (EFI) electronic fuel injected motors with computer controlled ignition systems.

With all the new technology, troubleshooting and repairs require diagnostic equipment as well as the hand tools. Meaning mechanics now need to know a whole lot more than in the past to troubleshoot and make the repairs. The cost of the diagnostic software is very expensive, and most engine manufactures have there own software that will not work with other motors. Meaning you have to buy software for each motor you wish to service.
