The Channel Cat is a seasonal passenger ferryboat operation, operating in the Quad Cities on the Mississippi River

The Channel Cat Water Taxi is a passenger ferry service that provides seasonal service between Quad Cities destinations on the Mississippi River. Service is operational from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend, with additional weekend service provided through October (weather permitting). Costs for an all day pass are $8 for adults and $4 for children 2-10. Children under the age of 2 are FREE with an accompanied adult.

That’s a wrap! The 2026 season was one to remember.

Thank you to everyone who rode with us, brought family and friends on board, shared photos, explored the riverfronts and made the Channel Cat part of your summer plans.

This season was extra special. Channel Cat was voted Quad Cities Area Locals Love Us’ No. 1 Tourist Attraction for the third year in a row. We also launched our first year of Channel Cat Sessions, bringing three local musicians on board for live music pop-up shows.

See you on the river in 2027!

Before the season ends, we want to give a huge thank you to the captains and deckhands who kept us moving on the Mississippi River!

The crew is a big part of what makes every Channel Cat ride safe, easy and memorable. Last chance to ride is Sunday, Oct. 18! 🌊
