✈️ WEATHER DELAY! 🌧️

For the safety of our runners, volunteers and everyone involved, the 2026 BFM 5K on the Runway, presented by JESCO, Inc., has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 31.

Here’s what you need to know:

🏃 All current registrations will automatically transfer to the new date.

📦 Packet pickup will NOT take place this week. Updated packet pickup details will be shared ahead of the rescheduled race.

👟 Can’t make October 31? You’ll have the option to transfer your registration to another runner or still pick up your race shirt and swag. More details will be shared soon.

🎟️ Registration has been extended! New registrations are welcome, but shirts and swag are not guaranteed.

We know a change of plans isn’t ideal, but with an event that takes place almost entirely outdoors, safety comes first.

Our takeoff may be delayed, but we’ll see you on the runway October 31! ✈️🏃

And do us a favor: tag your running buddies who aren’t exactly known for checking their email

📍 Friday, Oct. 2: Fleet Feet Mobile | Noon – 6 p.m.

Can’t make early packet pickup? Race-day pickup begins at 7 a.m. Saturday.

And yes, we see that weekend forecast too. 👀🌧️ We’re keeping a close eye on it, but as of now, the BFM 5K is ON for Saturday morning! We’ll continue watching conditions and share another update Thursday.

If you’re still planning to register, don’t wait! We’re getting very close to capacity.

Five more days. Fingers crossed for a cooperative forecast, and we’ll see you on the runway! 🏁

500 RUNNERS! 🎉 But we’re not completely sold out just yet.

We’ve officially hit 500 registrations for the BFM 5K on the Runway presented by JESCO, Inc. That means we’ve surpassed what we can guarantee for race shirts and swag bags, but we can still squeeze in a few more runners!

Registration is still open at a reduced price to reflect that shirts and swag are no longer guaranteed.

If you’ve been waiting, this is your sign. ✈️🏃

A pretty great view is waiting for you at the turnaround. ✈️

We’re excited to have Airbus back as a Platinum Sponsor of the BFM 5K on the Runway, and they’re bringing something special to race day.

Airbus is an important part of the aviation community here in Mobile, and we’re grateful for their continued support of the BFM 5K and the Mobile Airport Authority Foundation.

Just one more reason we can’t wait to see 500 runners take over the runway next Saturday!
