Norton Lilly Logistics is currently seeking a motivated Inside Sales Assistant in our Corporate Mobile, AL location. Position is full-time, non-exempt, pay DOE with a full benefit package.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Responsible for administrative and operational responsibilities, and ensures that rate quotes are correct and carried out according to policy.
• Enhance teamwork and common direction for sales within regions.
• Providing superior customer service to customers.
• Determining sales team in determining customer needs for future sales activities.
• Any other tasks as assigned from time to time by management.
Requirements:
• HS diploma or equivalent required
• BA/BS degree preferred but will supplement for industry related experience
• Proven 1-2 years inside sales experience preferred
• Proven 1-2 years freight forwarding, expediting, freight forwarding experience highly preferred
• Familiar with US Customs rules and regulations highly preferred
• Proficient in software applications, including but not limited to all MS Office products
• Organizational and time management skills; multi-tasking and prioritizing
• Detail and result oriented
• Demonstrated ability to make verbal and written communication skills
• A working understanding of customer service techniques in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work in a team environment
